That Guy Crochets!!!

So I’m an addict. I’m addicted to Project Runway! I have been since Season one!! This season (4) is just about over with only one episode left,and I’m already jonesing for next season. Last week they had a walk-off between Chris (yay!) and Rami (eh) to see which of these two would be the third to compete at Bryant Park Fashion Week. They had to do a collection of 12 pieces each because the walk-off was only 2 days before Bryant Park,so whoever won had to be ready. They were told to pick what they believed to be the strongest 3 pieces from the collections and present them to the judges. This beautiful dress was one of Chris’s pieces…

The center panel and the wrap are both crocheted hairpin lace!!!!!!! Yay! I think it’s gorgeous and a total winner! Unfortunately,the judges disagreed. Rami got the third slot to compete at Bryant Park. On the plus side,I found out that Chris still showed is collection at Fashion Week,just not as part of Project Runway. Thanks to Sheldon for not only that info,but for the picture of this dress.

Now all I have left to do is find out Wednesday who wins PR. Will it be Chrstian,who is talented,but who is completely arrogant? Or maybe Jillian,who can pull out some wonderful outfits,but has a tendency to bite off more than she can chew and has a problem with time management? Or Rami,who knows how to design for a woman’s body,but has this unnatural fascination with draping,so that most of his dresses look like Greek goddess wear? Onlhy time will tell!
